Life Is Changeable

Today,my father informed me that my grandfather is paralyzed of right side of his body. Knowing this bad news, I rushed into the hospital. I saw my grandfather lay on the bed and my uncle and my aunt standing around him. I asked if he knew who I am. He nodded but he couldn't said my name clearly because his nerves of the right side are paralyzed. After 30 minutes, my grandfather got a ward. In the ward the doctor came in and asked some questions. When my uncle went home to take some necessaries, I went to buy dinner for my grandfather. Because he didn't anything all the day, he ate a bowl of porridge fast and contentedly. Looking at him, I found that he was so thin and was widely different from the grandfather in my mind.

I just met him last Saturday. It seemed that he changed a person within few days. Last Saturday, he could walk on his own and gave me dessert, while he can't eat food by himself.

Life is changeable so we have to seize everything belonging us.
Say "I love you." to the person who beside you.

A Suprising Performance

He is amazing! He played the flute and beatboxed at the same time. I think that he was very tired when he finished the performance.

National Music Contest

Yesterday, I participated the National Music Contest with the wind band. We were the last team so we still had a lot of time when we got the renue. I met my schoolmates of junior high. Both of them would compete with me. Few years ago, we were battle companions. But we were enemies now. However, all of us wished each others having good performances.

After listening to many schools' performance, National Taiwan University's especially, we get more nervous. Finally, it was the time for us to show. Because the result would announced immediately after our performance, all teams aggregate in the hall. in the other word, we had a large amount of audience. In the beginning, I am so nervous that my hands were shaking. But I enjoyed the performance soon and got calm. As soon as we finished our 20 minutes show, the audience bursted into applause. However, we didn't satisfied because we still made many mistakes. Although the result wasn't the best, we still got a good result and progressed.
After the contest, we went to celebrate the success. We went to eat Shabu Shabu. After we ate and drank to our content, everybody said something to partners. When the senior addressed, I was touched.

We spent a lot of time practicing and got a good grade. I think the result is not the most important. The most important thing is we were happy when we perform and we share our music to everybody.

Tomb Sweeping Festival

Although the Tomb Sweeping Festival is not coming, I went to Miaoli to sweep the Tomb with my family yesterday. Because we are Hakka, our Tomb Sweeping Festival is earlier than Southern Min people.
Yesterday, I saw many belongings, who I would just see once a year. And I even don't know their names. It is so strange that I don't know my belongings' names.

wind band concert

Last Saturday, I went to National Yang-Ming University with my wind band. Tamkang University, Jin-Shan high school and our school held a small concert in Yang-Ming University together. In order to practice for the musical competition, we played our compositions to the others and the others gave us some advice. We also listened to their compositions and gave them some advice. My senior asked me to practice listening to compositions carefully and finding the problems they had. But that is too difficult for me. I didn't know when they made mistakes and when the pitch was wrong. However, it was seemed that it is easy to my seniors. They can find out the problem immediately and accurately. But I just can play.
I still have a lot of things to learn.

For the musical competition, we spent a lot of time practicing. I hope we can get a great achievement.

The Pursuit of Happyness

I didn't go home this weaken because I am going to have a anatomy test next Tuesday. However, I still didn't finish my study. I saw a movie, The Pursuit of Happyness, by computer.

The main character, played by Will Smith, is a genius. But his life was tough. He couldn't make enough money to save his family, even paying the tax. However, he did his best to get a gob and pursue his dream instead of giving up. Finally, he succeeded and made a big fortune.

This is an inspiring story about a real man. He met many difficulties when pursuing happiness. He was sent to the prison because he didn't pay the tax; sleeping in the toilet of bus station because he didn't have money to pay rent. Comparing with him, I'm so lucky. I don't have to worry about my life. I have a place to sleep, beautiful clothes to wear and money to eat dinner. Thus, I can't have any excuse to evade difficulties and should have more courage to face the music and pursue my happiness.

Yeaterday was the Lantern Festival. However I didn't eat sticky rice ball and didn't go to see the festival lantern.
Instead, I stayed at home watching movies, The Departed, The Butterfly Effect and The Night Listener.
The Dparted is adapted from a chineses movie which tells a story about two men, one is a undercover policeman in a ring and the other is a undercover gangster at police office. They have to help them own boss to get useful imformation. But, in the end, both of them are shoot to death.
This movie was nominated for many kinds of award in the Oscar Award this year. But I do not like it very much because it is too similar with the chineses edition.
